FAQ
Answers to the questions we hear most. Still stuck? Email [email protected].
What is SpinGlobus for?
Keep all your photos in one place and build your own private photo-album and trip libraries — reachable from any device. Organize them, map them, and share them your way.
Are my uploads private by default?
Yes. New albums and trips are private. You decide when to share — with specific people by email, with anyone who has a link, or publicly.
How do I share an album?
Open the album and choose Share. Invite specific people by email — they get a link and don't need an account to view — or make the album public so anyone can find it.
What photo formats can I upload?
JPEG and HEIC (the format iPhones use). HEIC photos are converted automatically. Other file types aren't supported.
How do trip maps and GPS pins work?
If your photos carry GPS location (in their EXIF data), SpinGlobus places them on a world map, with each pin linking back to the photo.
Why don't some photos show up on the map?
Those photos don't contain GPS data. Turn on Location/GPS in your camera or phone settings before taking photos, and they'll map automatically.
Can one upload feed both an album and a trip map?
Yes. Upload your photos once — you can build an album and a trip map from the same set.
How do I quickly make an album from a big batch of photos?
The album wizard lets you pick from your uploaded photos with helpers that speed up choosing, then builds the album in a few steps.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Plans differ by limits — such as how many photos you can keep. You can see and change your plan in Your Account.
How do I change or reset my password?
Use "Forgot password?" on the login page to get a reset link by email, or change it any time in Your Account.
How do I delete my photos or my account?
Delete individual photos from Your Photos. To remove your whole account, go to Your Account → Delete account.
